Private Blockchains

Private blockchains are blockchain networks that are restricted to a specific group of participants or entities. Access and participation in the network are controlled, and transactions and data are only visible to authorized participants. Private blockchains are often utilized by organizations for internal purposes, such as supply chain management, document verification, or interdepartmental coordination. They provide privacy, control, and efficiency, but may sacrifice some of the decentralization and censorship resistance features found in public blockchains.
